UBC Tallwood (Brock Commons)

This building stands as a pioneering example of encapsulated mass timber construction (EMTC), and for two years following its completion, it held the title of the tallest structure of its kind in the world. Spanning 18 storeys and covering an area of 49,606 square meters, the project features 404 student residence beds. Its innovative use of mass timber not only showcases cutting-edge sustainable design but also sets a new standard for future construction in the industry.

Paradox Hotel & Residences
(formerly Trump International)

Inspired by the iconic designs of Arthur Erickson, this striking 63-story twisted tower is a true architectural masterpiece. It features a luxurious 168-room hotel, 218 elegant residential suites, and a range of world-class amenities, including the renowned Mott 32 restaurant, a sophisticated champagne bar, a state-of-the-art fitness center and spa, as well as a vibrant pool bar and nightclub. This stunning building combines modern living with exceptional hospitality and entertainment, creating a dynamic destination for both residents and visitors.

Olympic Village

This expansive project comprises eight buildings, totaling 161,544 square meters across three land parcels. Initially serving as the Athlete's Village during the 2010 Winter Olympics, the development was later transformed into a vibrant residential community. After the Games, the properties were sold as market condominiums, and the complex now includes a wide range of commercial spaces, further enriching the area and providing a dynamic blend of residential and retail offerings.

Woodwards Redevelopment

This landmark project seamlessly integrates the restoration of the historic 1903-1908 heritage portion with modern development. It features 200 community non-market affordable rental condominiums alongside 566 market condominiums, creating a balanced and vibrant residential community. Additionally, the development includes a City of Vancouver Childcare Centre, an expansive urban park, and a variety of retail spaces, offering both residents and the public a dynamic and accessible environment.

Cowichan Secondary School

This state-of-the-art replacement school for Cowichan Secondary is designed to foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment for 1,100 students, with provisions for future expansion that will increase its capacity to 1,400. As a design-build project, the facility integrates cutting-edge architecture and sustainable practices to support modern education. In addition to its academic spaces, the campus includes a Neighborhood Health & Wellness Centre, offering essential health services to students and the wider community. It also features an Indigenous Language & Cultural Centre, serving as a dedicated space for the preservation and celebration of Indigenous languages, culture, and traditions, ensuring that students have access to rich, culturally inclusive programming.

North Island College Residences

This project marks the college’s first Student Housing Commons, setting a new standard for student accommodations on campus. It features three four-story buildings, a harmonious blend of wood-frame construction and mass timber, which not only provide a modern and sustainable living environment but also reflect the region’s commitment to environmental stewardship. The development includes 217 student beds, along with extensive amenity spaces designed to foster community and support student well-being. A key feature of the design is the thoughtful integration of K’ómoks First Nation culture, which is intricately woven into the building’s form, symbolizing a deep connection to the land and its heritage. Additionally, the project is designed to meet Step 4 of the BC Energy Code, ensuring it exceeds energy efficiency standards and contributes to a more sustainable future.

Parkwest

This impressive project features two high-rise towers, offering a total of 262 market residential condominiums. Designed to blend urban living with convenience, the development also includes a variety of commercial spaces, such as a grocery store and a restaurant, enhancing the appeal and accessibility for residents and the surrounding community. With a focus on modern living, the towers offer both comfort and convenience, creating a vibrant hub where residents can enjoy a balanced lifestyle with easy access to essential services and amenities.

UBC Gateway School of Nursing

This six-story, 86,868 square meter institutional building serves as a dedicated space for the Faculties of Nursing, Language Sciences, and Kinesiology. Designed with sustainability in mind, the building features a Hybrid Mass Timber (CREE) superstructure, combining the strength and environmental benefits of timber with innovative construction techniques. Its striking exterior is highlighted by an extensively panelized Terracotta cladding system, offering both aesthetic appeal and durability. This state-of-the-art facility provides a modern, functional environment to support advanced education and research in these key academic disciplines.

SFU School of Contemporary Arts

This 39,014 square meter teaching facility is a dynamic space designed to foster creativity and innovation in the arts. It features state-of-the-art dance, audio/visual, and performing arts studios, providing students with the tools to excel in their craft. Situated within the historic Woodwards complex in Vancouver, the school is home to one of the few living arts theatres in North America, offering a unique venue that blends tradition with modernity. This remarkable project not only supports the development of emerging artists but also enriches the cultural landscape of the region.

Capwest

This expansive project features 460 market rental suites spread across seven concrete buildings, ranging up to 12 stories in height, offering a modern and dynamic living environment. With over 158,496 square meters of below-grade space dedicated to mini-storage and vehicle parking, the development provides convenient storage solutions for residents. In addition to the residential offerings, the complex includes dedicated spaces for a Community Centre and a Childcare Centre, fostering a sense of community and supporting local families. The thoughtful design and extensive amenities make this project a hub for both residential living and community engagement.

Port of Nanaimo Centre

The Vancouver Island Conference Centre and Shaw Auditorium is a versatile two-story, mixed-use facility that combines a state-of-the-art conference center, an expansive auditorium, and vibrant retail spaces. Designed to accommodate a wide range of events, the project includes extensive meeting rooms, grand ballrooms, and flexible office spaces, all crafted to support both corporate and community gatherings. Additionally, the centre offers museum shell space, providing a platform for future cultural exhibitions. This dynamic facility is designed to be a hub for both business and culture, enhancing the region’s appeal as a destination for events and tourism.

UBC Ponderosa Phase II

Ponderosa Commons is a dynamic mixed-use development situated on the UBC Vancouver Campus. It combines modern student housing, the Faculty of Education, and community retail spaces, creating a vibrant hub for both academic and social engagement. The building's distinctive envelope features precast concrete sandwich panels, housing a 18-story tower along with an 8-story and 7-story building. This impressive complex offers 553 student beds and a variety of academic facilities, including offices, classrooms, and expansive conference and event spaces, making it a central resource for students, faculty, and the surrounding community.

Fortis Conference Centre

This two-story addition to the existing Fortis Centre is a modern extension built with a structural steel framework and sleek curtain wall glazing, blending seamlessly with the original structure. Serving both the adjacent Paradox International Hotel and the BC Fortis Centre, the expanded facility offers versatile event spaces, including multiple ballrooms and meeting rooms, ideal for a variety of functions. A full-service commercial kitchen enhances the venue's capacity, providing high-quality catering for events of all sizes. This addition significantly elevates the Centre’s ability to host large-scale conferences, galas, and corporate meetings, making it a key destination for business and hospitality in the region.

Northgate Village

his expansive mixed-use development features two striking high-rise towers, alongside a variety of commercial units, making it a vibrant addition to the community. Notable retail tenants include Price Smart Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart, and the Signature BC Liquor Store, offering convenient services for residents and visitors alike. The two residential towers, collectively known as Silhouette, include a 34-story tower with 282 suites and a 26-story tower with 221 suites, designed to provide modern living in a prime urban location. Additionally, the development includes a City of Burnaby Childcare Centre, further enriching the space by providing essential services for families in the area. This project combines residential, retail, and community-focused elements, creating a dynamic and integrated environment.

The Cove Beach Resort

The Cove Resort is a luxurious four-story wood-frame condominium and hotel located on the scenic waterfront of Okanagan Lake in Westbank, BC. This upscale resort offers 150 beautifully appointed suites, providing guests with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding landscape. In addition to its elegant accommodations, the resort boasts an array of premium amenities, including expansive swimming pools, direct beach access, a full-service spa, and a fine dining restaurant, ensuring a relaxing and indulgent experience for all who visit. Perfectly blending modern luxury with natural beauty, The Cove Resort is a premier destination for both relaxation and recreation.

Brian Jessel BMW Autosport

This project involved a comprehensive process of selective demolition, renovation, and expansion of an existing structure to create a state-of-the-art 5,217 square meter dealership. The new facility features a drive-thru service center, an expansive 18-bay service garage, and a customer cafe and lounge, designed to provide a comfortable and convenient experience for visitors. Additionally, the building offers three levels of modern office space, providing a dynamic and functional environment for both administrative and operational needs. The result is a highly efficient, customer-oriented space that combines functionality with a welcoming atmosphere.

The Hudson

This striking 33-story, 423-unit luxury residential high-rise development combines modern living with historical charm. Located at Dunsmuir Street, the project integrates a new ALRT Skytrain station, offering convenient transit access for residents and visitors. The development includes nine levels of underground parking, a below-grade retail concourse for shopping and services, and four levels of above-grade commercial space, creating a dynamic blend of residential, retail, and office environments. A remarkable feature of the project is the careful preservation and integration of two historic facades – the 1928 B.C. Electric Showroom and the 1892-built 648 Granville building, which add a distinctive architectural character to the Hudson. This harmonious combination of old and new creates a vibrant, mixed-use development that celebrates the city’s rich history while embracing modern urban living.

Bayshore Gardens Marina
(Coal Harbour)

The Bayshore West Marina (Long-Term Moorage) offers a comprehensive range of services designed for yachts ranging from 35 to 70 feet in length. The marina features a concrete float system with 55 slips, easy-maneuvering, extra-wide channels, and 30-50 amp electrical service. Additional amenities include pump-out services, service pedestals with float lighting, electrical and water services, and a 6-foot wide aluminum access ramp. Security is enhanced with individual key fob access and a CCTV surveillance system, while a floating marina office provides WIFI access and management services.

 

In contrast, the Bayshore North Marina (Charter Boat) caters specifically to charter boats, with 7 slips accommodating vessels from 35 to 125 feet. It also includes a seaplane dock, pump-out services, and a 6-foot wide aluminum access ramp. The marina is equipped with a floating office/management building and three floating storage buildings. Additionally, six charter boats, operated permanently by three companies, are docked at the facility, offering a dynamic and diverse maritime experience for visitors.

This boutique residential high-rise, ideally located near the Lougheed Town Centre in Burnaby, offers a sophisticated living experience with a focus on intelligent design. The development features 102 thoughtfully designed residences, including one, two, and three-bedroom suites, each crafted to maximize space and comfort. Residents can enjoy stunning panoramic views from the exclusive Sky Lounge situated on the 19th floor, providing an elevated space for relaxation and socializing. Combining modern living with convenience, this project offers an exceptional living environment in one of Burnaby's most desirable areas.
