Brent Olund is a highly accomplished Professional Engineer, a Gold Seal Project Manager, and holds an MBA from the prestigious Richard Ivey School of Business. With over 28 years of experience in the Construction Industry, Brent’s career began in Industrial, Commercial, and Marine construction, before transitioning into specialized roles focused on Residential concrete high-rises, educational buildings, and Mass Timber Construction. Throughout his career, Brent has built a strong reputation as a nationally recognized expert and thought leader in the planning and control of Mass Timber structures. His extensive work includes collaborating with design teams to validate emerging Mass Timber building assembly systems, as well as designing and patenting an innovative lateral structural system specifically for these buildings. Brent’s expertise and forward-thinking approach have made him a key figure in the development of sustainable building practices. Driven by a deep commitment to addressing the housing crisis, Brent believes that the true purpose of his work is to drive construction productivity through the implementation of advanced building systems, ultimately creating more efficient, sustainable, and affordable housing solutions.
